This Cookie Notice explains how Stormforth LLC uses cookies, pixels, browser storage, and similar technologies on stormforth.com and blog.stormforth.com. It should be read with our Privacy Notice.

What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kits, tags, pixels, and identifiers that can recognize a browser or device, remember choices, measure performance, or record interactions.

Our categories

Necessary. These technologies support theme selection, privacy preferences, security, load delivery, and other functions required to provide the Website. They cannot be switched off through our preference tool.

Analytics. With your permission, Grafana Faro helps us diagnose errors and understand performance and usage. If configured, Google Analytics may provide aggregate site measurement. These tools may process page URL, referrer, browser and device information, approximate location, interaction events, errors, performance data, IP address, and identifiers or browser storage.

Marketing. With your permission and when configured, Google advertising tags, Meta Pixel, and Reddit Pixel help measure campaigns, attribute visits, build audiences, or support advertising. These providers may collect page visits, campaign and click identifiers, browser or device information, IP address, and interactions, and may associate data with information they already hold under their own policies.

Technologies currently supported

• Stormforth theme: stormforth.theme cookie and local storage; necessary; remembers light or dark mode for up to one year.
• Stormforth privacy preference: stormforth_privacy cookie and stormforth.privacy local storage; necessary; records consent choices for up to six months.
• Grafana Faro: analytics; loaded only after analytics consent; provides observability, diagnostics, and site-usage events.
• Google: analytics and/or marketing when a Google tag is configured and the corresponding consent is granted; identifiers may include names beginning with _ga, _gid, or _gcl_.
• Meta Pixel: marketing when configured and consented; identifiers may include _fbp and _fbc.
• Reddit Pixel: marketing when configured and consented; identifiers may include _rdt_uuid.

Exact names and durations can change when providers update their services. A configured provider may use additional local or server-side identifiers described in its own documentation.

Your choices

On your first visit, non-essential technologies are off. You can accept all, reject non-essential technologies, or make category choices. Reopen Cookie settings at any time to change or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before the change.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we disable marketing technologies. Browser settings can also block or delete storage, but doing so may remove your theme or privacy preference and cause the notice to appear again.
